CHICAGO (WLS) — A Chicago couple have tied the knot after getting engaged in intensive care three years in the past.
Viktoria Cupay and her then-boyfriend Nick Baldo acquired married in August.
Three years in the past, in 2019, Cupay developed a uncommon pores and skin situation known as Stevens-Johnson Syndrome that impacts the pores and skin and mucous membranes. Medical doctors say it may have killed her.
Cupay was in intensive care and even in a coma. When she awakened, Baldo proposed within the intensive care unit.
